Senior scientist

What you’ll do:

  • Design and run studies that reveal actionable biology in tumors.
  • Take part in oncology drug target assessment using Gordion’s tumor analysis platform, combining your understanding of cancer genomics, genes, and pathways driving cancer.
  • Work with genomic data (NGS, WGS, RNAseq) and large-scale datasets (DepMap, TCGA, ICGC).
  • Translate data into insights that drive target discovery and biomarker identification.
  • Collaborate with external partners to help assess drug mechanisms, identify biomarkers, and strengthen their oncology programs.
  • Work closely with a small, ambitious team where ideas move fast and impact is immediate.

What we’re looking for:

  • Ph.D. in Cancer Biology or a related field.
  • Solid background in cancer genomics and an understanding of the genes and pathways driving cancer.
  • Experience with bioinformatics tools and genomic data analysis (NGS, WGS, RNAseq).
  • Comfortable working with large datasets such as DepMap, TCGA, and ICGC.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a good sense for experimental design and data interpretation.
  • A clear communicator who enjoys working collaboratively, is curious, and open-minded.
