VP of Biology

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovation in oncology research, with a particular focus on genomics and key areas including KRAS, Myc, and TP53
  • Lead and coordinate the work of biologists, data scientists, and other research staff in the development and validation of experimental protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate biological research with computational data analysis
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team
  • Represent Gordion Bioscience in scientific forums, conferences, and collaborations with external partners
  • Continuously align with leadership on project priorities for both personal and team objectives

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field, with a strong focus on oncology
  • At least 5 years of experience in biological research, with a significant portion dedicated to cancer research
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving strategic objectives
  • Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with the latest technologies and methodologies in biological research and genomics
